What We Do

Opening Doors to a Brighter Future through Quality Healthcare

FJF Medical Mission was established in 2006 to assist special needs areas around the world. General practitioners, pediatricians, gynecologists, nurses and other medical personnel volunteer for short-term medical mission trips. We create a marriage between foreign volunteer medical personnel and local personnel in project site areas and source critically needed medical equipment and supplies.

Caring for Women and Widows of Child-bearing age, Babies and Children in Nigeria, and other Developing Countries.
A team of medical personnel on the ground in Nigeria, Ghana, Liberia and South Africa collaborates with the FJF to assist with the distribution of care for women and widows of childbearing age. Many widows fall into poverty and become vulnerable to abuse that impact negatively on their health. Many women and widows are coerced into bearing children or because of compromised situations with unprotected sex give birth. These at risk women are provided some access to health care with pre and post term support from community volunteers and short term medical missions to these communities.

Pediatricians and Nurses Provide Care to Newborns and Children.
U.S. and local medical personnel provide advice to mothers on how to protect the health of their children.

The true measure of a nation’s standing is how well it attends to its children – their health and safety, their material security, their education and socialization, and their sense of being loved, valued, and included in the families and societies into which they are born. UNIC

Serving overseas
FJF has a plan in the making to start sending Christian medical personnel to deliver services where they are needed most on short time basis to Africa, Asia and other developing parts of the world.

Post-Residency Program
FJF is developing a Post-Residency Program for gifted and dedicated Christian medical personnel to augment the efforts of the older medical missions in the needy countries of the world. This program will need you as a physician immediately after your residency to be placed at a mission hospital to serve within your area of specialization for between one to two years on the resources of FJF. You will be given orientations regarding the mission.
